FORGOTTEN COAST SALES UPDATE – FEBRUARY 2022

Spring is officially here and so are the spring breakers. This is such a good time to plan a visit to the area with the warming but not hot temperatures and to see everything turning green and beginning to bloom again. I recently planted a Crape Myrtle, Little Gem Magnolia tree and 3 Bottle Brush bushes. I can’t wait to see how they do. March and April are probably my favorite months of the year.

Sales activity for the month of February was strong with 57 total sales – 21 single family homes, 8 condo/town homes, 2 mobile homes, 21 residential home sites and 5 commercial properties. St. George Island saw the most activity with 24 total sales – 11 single family homes, 4 condo/town homes, 5 residential home sites and 4 commercial properties. Apalachicola had 6 total sales – 2 single family homes, 1 town home, 2 residential home sites and 1 commercial property. Carrabelle had 22 total sales – 7 single family homes, 3 condo/town homes, 2 mobile homes and 10 residential home sites. Eastpoint had 5 total sales – 1 single family home and 4 residential home sites. Sales ranged from a low of $17,500 for a lot in St. James Bay to $3,000,000 for a 6 bedroom/5 bath gulf front home with elevator located in the Plantation.
