FORGOTTEN COAST SALES UPDATE – AUGUST 2024

We thankfully survived Hurricane Helene with minimal damage and are so very grateful that this special place escaped with no harm. Sales activity for the month of August 2024 remained consistent with the previous month with 55 total sales – 28 single family homes, 4 condo/town homes, 2 mobile homes, 18 residential home sites and 3 commercial properties. Carrabelle saw the most activity with 20 total sales – 7 single family homes, 1 condo/town home, 10 residential home sites and 2 commercial properties. St. George Island had 17 total sales – 13 single family homes, 1 condo/town home and 3 residential home sites. Apalachicola had 10 total sales – 5 single family homes, 2 condo/town homes, 1 mobile home, 1 residential home site and 1 commercial property. Eastpoint had 8 total sales – 3 single family homes, 1 mobile home and 4 residential home sites. Sales prices ranged from a low of $4,750 for a boat storage unit at the Carrabelle Boat Club to $3,400,000 for an newer construction 6 bedroom/6.5 bath gulf front home with private pool located in the Gulf Beaches.
