Sales activity slowed considerably during the month of August as is typical for this time of year. Local realtors assisted with 62 property sales on St. George Island, Apalachicola, Carrabelle and Eastpoint – 16 single family homes, 6 condo/town homes, 2 mobile homes, 35 residential home sites and 3 commercial properties. Carrabelle saw the most activity with 33 total sales – 6 single family homes, 2 condo/town homes, 2 mobile homes, 22 residential home sites and 1 commercial property. St. George Island had 17 total sales – 6 single family homes, 1 condo, 8 residential home sites and 2 commercial properties.
