MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for the upcoming New Year. Our family will be having a quiet Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and I will be making my first standing rib roast. Any tips and recipe ideas would be very much appreciated. We are looking forward to having our two youngest granddaughters fly in the day after Christmas and stay with us through New Years Day. Once they arrive, the quiet time will be over! Our oldest granddaughter is working and will not be able to come this year. This will be the first Christmas that I have not spent with her. It is really a bummer that they have to go and grow up on you.
I hope that this wonderful warm weather will continue so that all visiting for Christmas will be able to enjoy the beach and maybe even go home with a tan in January!
Sales activity was somewhat slower during the month of November with 39 total property sales. St. George Island had the most sales activity with 12 homes sold (3 townhomes in 300 Ocean Mile and 9 single family homes) and 3 lots (a gulf view lot, a bay view lot and one gulf front lot). In Apalachicola there were 2 lots sold in the North Historic district and 3 single family homes sold. In Carrabelle, there were 2 mobile homes sold, 5 single family homes and 1 riverfront lot sold. In Eastpoint, there were sales of 3 mobile homes, 1 single family home and 2 vacant lots. On Alligator Point, 1 vacant lot and 2 single family homes were sold. Sales prices ranged from $10,000 for a one acre lot in Whispering Pines in Eastpoint to $950,000 for a 5 bedroom/5 bath gulf front home in Casa del Mar in the Plantation on St. George Island.
