Forgotten Coast Sales Update 5/1-5/31/15

 

I hope everyone is having a great start to summer.  It has been extremely hot here the past week but beautiful and sunny.  I am just happy to be home after commuting to Tallahassee everyday for over 80 days while my husband went through a horrible infection caused by hip replacement surgery.  He is home temporarily while he continues to recover and we are hopeful that the final hip replacement surgery can be done in the middle of July. Our granddaughters are  here for their summer vacation which will be the best possible medicine he can receive.   Going through something like this puts life into its proper perspective and causes you to consider what is really important.  It has also given me time to truly appreciate how fortunate I am to live in this special place and have the support of so many good friends and family.

During the month of May there were a total of 39 properties sold – 13 vacant lots and 26 homes/town homes/condos.  There were 7 homes and 5 lots sold on St. George Island, 5 homes sold in Apalachicola, 12 homes and 5 lots sold in Carrabelle, 2 homes and 2 lots sold in Eastpoint and 1 lot sold on Alligator Point.  Sales prices ranged from $4,350 for a vacant lot in Carrabelle Landing to $1,800,000 for a 7 bedroom/5 bath home in the St. George Plantation.  We do have properties for all budgets located throughout the area.  It is a perfect time to check out the options and possibilities available.  I am here to answer an questions and would love the opportunity to help you with your search for just the right property.
